Service Availability & How it works?
The Voipo Services are currently available in United States and Canadian regions only. These services mostly work on the principles of Voice on Internet Protocol (VOIP) in which the voice or the sound signals are converted into data and made to travel over the Internet Communication Lines (Broadband Lines) from source to destination computers where again the data is transformed to voice or sound signals. Residential VoIP
1)The residential service of Voipo is available in Regions of United States only. The people can subscribe to this facility for use within these regions only. Although, with this service, they can make calls to any phone number at any International location, but the luxury of this economical and great featured service is available only to the people residing in United Sates regions only.
2)When the Residential VoIP Service is ordered from Voipo, the customer can select a new phone number from over 8,000 available areas or it also has an option to get its own phone number transferred or converted into the VoIP number. The customer needs to mention the choice in the order detail form itself and the Voipo Company does the things accordingly.
3)Voipo ships to the customer a set of VoIP Phone adapter which can be used for converting a regular phone device into a VoIP Phone device. The customer just needs to plug in the broadband Internet connection to the adapter and plug in a normal telephone into it.
4)Once the setup is done, the customer can use its phone just like any normal PSTN phone. When a call is placed, the adapter sends the calls out through your Internet connection to VOIPo network instead of the regular phone network. The Voipo network in turn sends the signals to the destination phone number and make the communication complete.
Toll Free Numbers
1)The toll free number service of Voipo is available only in United States and Canadian Regions. The people can subscribe to this facility for use within these regions only. The service can receive the toll free calls from a phone number within USA or Canada and anyone calling from an external phone number will not be able to get connected and will receive the error message.
2)When the customer orders the toll free number facility from Voipo, it selects a toll-free number from the give pool of numbers.
3)Once the account is activated after all the required formalities, the customer is required to login to its web based control panel and set the destination number. The destination number can be any existing phone number in the US/Canada or a SIP address.
4)Once the things are completed, the setup is ready for use. Now whenever someone calls on the toll free number, the calls are taken up by the Voipo Network and forwarded to the mentioned destination number through Internet with VoIP Communication.
Forwarded Local Numbers
1)The Forwarded Local number service of Voipo is available in Regions of United States only. The people can subscribe to this facility for use within these regions only. The service can receive the forwarded calls from a phone number within USA and anyone calling from a phone number outside these regions will not be able to get connected and will receive the error message.
2)When the customer orders for the Forwarded Local Number Service from Voipo, it needs to mention the location or the region in which it wants to provide the Local Number. The customer can chose from more than 7500 locations across United States.
3)Once the account is activated with the chosen number, the subscriber needs to login to the web based control panel and mention there a phone number to which it wants the incoming calls to be forwarded. This can be any existing 10 digit phone number (VoIP Phone Number or PSTN Phone Number) or an SIP location.
4)Once the setup is completed, the system is ready for use. Now whenever anyone calls to the provided local number in the region, the call is taken up by the Voipo Network and is forwarded to the phone mentioned by the subscriber.
VOIPo Fax
1)As mentioned above that Voipo Fax may not be a reliable service from Voipo and in fact Voipo may not offer this service officially with all required technical and administrative supports, though many customers could take the service unofficially and are using this. The service is functional and available in regions of USA.
2)Once the Voipo Fax Service Account is activated the subscriber needs to login to the web based control panel of its account and mention at an appropriate place a valid e-mail ID where the subscriber wants the fax documents to be e-mailed.
3)With this the setup is in fact completely done and now whenever someone sends a fax to the provided number, the Voipo network takes up its data and converts it to a PDF File.
4)The PDF file is e-mailed to the e-mail ID as mentioned by the subscriber in the control panel of its account. The subscriber can open, view and store the sent PDF Document for its use.

Forwarded Local Number Service United Sates When someone calls on the Forwarded Local Number, Voipo network forwards the call to the specified associated phone number which is usually a distant phone number in some other city or state and the person can receive it there. The dialing party needs to pay the charges of a Local call only and not any long distance call to be paid for the call. The subscriber needs to pay a predefined cost for per minute receiving of the call as per the contract.
4. Fax to E-Mail Service (Voipo Fax Service) United Sates When a fax is sent to the Voipo provided Fax Number, the fax data is captured by Voipo network and converted to a PDF Document. The PDF document is sent to the subscriber on a set e-mail ID and the subscriber can receive it there.
